Startup World, a global competition held in 20 cities worldwide, made their second-stop in Los Angeles. Hosted by The Next Web's Hermione Way, Startup World Los Angeles featured pitches from 10 Los Angeles semi-finalist startups including CreatorUp, Stagedom, ArtKive, Valarm, LawKick, AlumniFunder, Bitium, Enplug, Teachmeo, and Realty Mogul.
Additionally, the event featured a panel of judges, including Shira Lazar (Host, What's Trending), Howard Marks (Co-founder, Start Engine), Tianxiang “TX” Zhuo (Managing Partner, Karlin Ventures), KC Estenson (SVP & GM, Digital at CNN), and Eva Ho (VP Marketing & Operations, Factual).
Congrats to Startup World LA winners, ArtKive, an app that lets parents archive their children's artwork. Here is Chief Mom Officer, Leila Pirnia (right) who pitched, and ArtKive Co-founder, Jedd Gold (left).
