Dinner With a Cause 2014 | Downtown Women's Center

Last Thursday, the Downtown Women's Center held their annual Dinner With a Cause at the JW Marriott L.A. Live. The event honored longtime CEO Lisa Watson and successfully raised over $800,000 for their programs to provide permanent supportive housing and other services to unhoused women in Los Angeles' Skid Row community.



Below are highlights from the reception and dinner, which featured stories shared at the podium by participants Laura and Theresa, Senator Holly Mitchell, Event Co-Chairs Eileen Goodis and Kathy Suto, DWC Board President Gloria Teschner, a live auction led by Vanessa Thanos, PSALMS Choir, and MADE goods handmade by the women of the Downtown Women's Center.
