Girl Geek X: OpenAI Girl Geek Dinner 2019

I'll be documenting coverage of the OpenAI Girl Geek Dinner on Tuesday, September 10th in San Francisco! Originally launched as a nonprofit in 2015 (Elon Musk was a co-founder), OpenAI is now a for-profit AI research company governed by the board of OpenAI Nonprofit and its mission is to "ensure that artificial general intelligence (AGI) benefits all of humanity." Its board members include Sue Yoon and Tasha McCauley, and investors include Reid Hoffman's charitable organization and Khosla Ventures.

Speakers include software engineer Brooke Chan, research scientist Lilian Weng from the robotics team, research scientist Christine Payne who created MuseNet, research scientist Amanda Askell who will cover AI policy, and hardware strategy lead Mira Murati
I'm curious to hear about what OpenAI girl geeks are working on in robotics and artificial intelligence that can benefit humans. See you there>>
